A bouquet of roses means sincere gratitude, whereas a single rose amplifies the meaning of the color (a single rose means "I REALLY love you") Each abstract botanical was created in Corinne's home studio. She used acrylic inks, fluid acrylics, natural earth pigments, water soluble crayon for mark making, heavy body medium, all intertwined with handmade paper collage. Each textured layer of paint had to dry before adding another layer, to bring forth the carefully curated color palette. Her style is a push and pull of adding and subtracting, just like in nature.
